Fillers and Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Dermal Fillers For Anti-Aging

Anti-wrinkle injections and fillers can minimise the appearance of common signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles, crow’s feet and sagging skin.

Drooping cheeks, bags around the eyes and even thin lips can all show that we’re not quite as youthful as we used to be, but they are easily treated using facial aesthetics.

At The Practice Poly Clinic, we use FDA-approved treatments and materials, and our doctor works closely with each patient to get an in-depth understanding of your individual needs and desires, in order to help you achieve beautiful, natural-looking results.

Fillers

Dermal fillers, also known as injectable fillers, can be used to restore loss of volume caused by ageing and increase collagen reproduction in certain areas of the face. Dermal filler treatment in Dubai is one of the most popular non-surgical augmentation techniques.

It can be used to enhance facial contours and give you a plumper appearance. Dermal filler injections can straighten the appearance of noses and even define your jawline.

We offer the below injectable fillers at our state of the art clinic in Dubai:

  • Lip filler
  • Smile line fillers (also known as nasolabial folds or laugh lines)

We use fillers that are hyaluronic acid based, which is a natural substance present in our skin to keep it looking hydrated, plump and youthful.

These fillers can last for up to 12 months and are commonly used on the lips, chin, cheeks, jawline, under eyes and around laugh lines.

Anti-wrinkle injections

Anti-wrinkle treatment softens and relaxes fine lines while also preventing new ones from forming.

Often used in conjunction with fillers, they effectively ‘freeze’ specific muscles and stop them contracting. By doing so, your skin is unable to wrinkle as it normally would and lines are prevented from forming. As a result, the appearance of any existing wrinkles or fine lines is minimised or reduced altogether.

At our fillers clinic in Dubai, anti-wrinkle injections are commonly used on the forehead, frown lines or around the eyes

FAQ's

Do fillers and anti-wrinkle injections hurt?
Numbing cream is used to help prevent any discomfort during the process. In addition to this, we use very fine needles to deliver anti-wrinkle treatments and fillers so pain or discomfort is kept to an absolute minimum. This also helps to reduce any swelling or bruising which may occur following the treatment.
Who can have fillers and anti-wrinkle injections?
When fillers and anti-wrinkle injections are used for cosmetic purposes they are most suited for adult patients who wish to reverse the signs of ageing or prevent their skin ageing. In some cases, however, these treatments can also be used to treat specific medical conditions, such as migraines or excessive sweating. In such cases, it may be viable to treat younger patients but this is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
How long do fillers and anti-wrinkle injections last?
The benefits of facial treatments will depend on the specific products used and your doctor will be sure to explain the various options available to you before any treatment goes ahead . Some anti-wrinkle injections can be expected to last for three to six months, for example, whilst certain fillers can often last up to two years.
How quickly will I see the results?
Although anti-aging injections are a very speedy procedure, you shouldn’t expect to see the results instantly. The first effects may begin to appear between 48 and 72 hours after treatment, however it may take up to 14 days for you to begin seeing the full effect.
How much do anti-wrinkle injections or fillers cost?
The cost of cosmetic injections and fillers can depend on a variety of factors including the area being treated, the experience of the doctor, the clinic location, and the quality of the product being used. Always consider the brand that is being injected, as well as the purity and quality of the product and whether the practice is known for quality. Over dilution of anti-wrinkle products is unfortunately commonplace, particularly when lower cost aesthetic deals are on offer.
What should I expect following treatment?
Following treatment you can expect some swelling and redness around the treatment area. This should subside fairly quickly. Most patients don’t report any pain following treatment and there are no obvious signs that treatment has been carried out. Some patients may experience some bruising, however if this occurs our aesthetics specialist may recommend using some arnica cream.
